About the trail

Hemfjället & Stensjön is a short, gentle mountain tour suited to families and new hikers. You take Gustav Express up to the top station and follow an easy, partly boardwalked trail out to the beautiful lake Stensjön – a popular destination with a wooden deck, barbecue spots and the famous rock formations. Here you turn around and walk back the same way. It is a half-day outing with a real mountain feel but without steep climbs. For more, experienced hikers can extend towards the summit of Hemfjället.
